Election 2024: PMLN emerges as favourite in Punjab: IPOR survey
It was revealed in a survey conducted by Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) from January 11 to January 23, 2004, in which more than 3,000 respondents participated.
As compared to July 2018, when 32 percent respondents had termed PMLN as their favourite political party and showed their intent to cast votes to it, some 45 percent expressed their intent to cast their votes to PMLN in the recent survey conducted by IPOR. The survey shows that PMLN has regained its popularity level similar to 2013 elections.
To a question as to which politician can steer country out of political and economic crisis, 45 percent posed their trust in Nawaz Sharif; 36 percent expressed confidence in Imran Khan; 6 percent, Bilawal Bhutto; 2 percent, Shehbaz Sharif; 1 percent, Maryam Nawaz; 1 percent, Jehangir Tareen; while 5 percent expressed trust in other leaders and 4 percent did not answer to the question.
